Calvinistic in Soteriology
We confess that salvation is the sovereign work of God from beginning to end. He decrees, initiates, and accomplishes redemption without possibility of failure. The grace that saves is the grace that keeps until the end. For a fuller articulation of this conviction, we commend our doctrinal statement, the 1833 New Hampshire Confession, and our auxiliary confession, the 1677/1689 Second London Baptist Confession.
Baptist in Polity
We hold that each local church is autonomous under the headship of Christ, with final earthly authority entrusted to the gathered congregation as it seeks to follow Scripture. Within this structure, pastors/elders—called by God and recognized by the congregation—shepherd, teach, and oversee the flock. This structure is commonly described as elder-led congregationalism.
Expository in Preaching
We affirm that pastors are called to feed Christ’s sheep through the careful exposition of Holy Scripture. We therefore give ourselves to the systematic explanation and application of the biblical text, trusting that God builds His people through His Word.
Evangelistic in Attitude
We believe Christ’s Great Commission binds every church. We therefore labor to proclaim the gospel in our community, and we partner prayerfully and financially with missionaries, evangelists, and church planters so that Christ may be known among all nations.
