| On Saturday, October 30, Beacon sponsored our fifth annual Fall Festival that featured a variety of games for the children, a hay ride, wonderful food, wholesome music and fantastic fellowship. This year was the biggest ever with an estimated 200 in attendance. The Lord gave us a beautiful day that enhanced the efforts of several folks for whom the Fall Festival is a labor of love. Many thanks to those who gave our church a great time of family fun! | Sam Florence stirs the stew as Connie Beaver looks on. Many thanks to several folks who made the delicious meal possible by cooking the stew, the Barbecue and the myriad of desserts. Jonathan and Crystal Guthrie make short work of some BBQ! A "wealth" of food was prepared for our enjoyment! The teens featured a wide variety of games for the children. Pumpkin painting was one of many activities for artists of all ages! As always, the trampoline was a "big hit"! Aaron Lynch "lets fly" as Jimmy B. watches in a "Hillbilly Horseshoes" match. Jonah and Zachary try out their "fake fangs" during the hayride. Fellowship is a BIG part of the Fall Festival. Mason tells about "the one that got away!" Nothing like a great meal and some hearty laughs to make your day! For some, a mild game of Scrabble was the place to be. Jerry and Madelyn supplied some "Bluegrass" background music! Jeremy gets a facing painting |
