| For the past couple of years, Beacon has sponsored a Fall Festival that featured a variety of games for the children, a hay ride, wonderful food, wholesome music and fantastic fellowship. This year was the biggest ever with an estimated 200 in attendance. The Lord gave us a beautiful day on October 18 that enhanced the efforts of several folks for whom the Fall Festival is a labor of love. Many thanks to those who gave our church a great time of family fun! Paul Nance inspects his fingers as he, Larry Norris and Jonathan Gutherie cut BBQ. | Sam and Pan Florence headed up the Brunswick Stew stirring team! Several teens helped us with the variety of games that were provided for the children to play. We more than doubled our turn-out of children this year! Thanks to Jon Bradshaw for securing a tractor and trailor for our hayride! Young and "older" alike enjoyed the trampoline! Bonnie Kooy was the Scrabble Champ with Bob Hendry as the runner-up. We all enjoyed fantastic food and wonderful fellowship! | |
